french speakers i need some help. i'm a bit confused. how do you know when to use qui, que, or où?
for example fill in the blanks:
1. Il fait beau dans le Midi, l'hiver? Oui, c'est une region ______ les hivers sont doux.
2. Vous pouvez m'indiquer un bon hotel? L'hotel ______ je vais s'appelle "Le Gardian"
3. Elles sont belles, les plages? Oui, Il y a des plages de sable fin ______ font des kilometres.

Que, is "that" (as object)
Où, is where, answer to 1 and 2
e.g. for "que"

that way you will hear how the native speaks it so to speak. Failing that, I believe Paris is truly a gorgeous city.Non?
In case you don't already know this, "qui" means "who", "que" means "what" and "ou" means "where". You should be able to eliminate ones that wouldn't fit. Good luck.
