You don't get it back. What makes you think you do? The only time you will get any tax back is if you send in your tax return and it turns out you have paid too much in advance.
Who have you been paying this to? You don't pay anything until HMRC sends you a bill. This isn't making any sense without more detail.
Are you in the Construction Industry Scheme? That's the only way I can think of that you have already paid tax while being self-employed. When you submit your tax return, the bill will be calculated taking account of what you have already had deducted from pay under the Scheme, and if that's too much, HMRC will send a refund. To work out how much you should have paid, the first £10,600 you earn in 2015/16 is tax-free, and the rest is taxed at 20%. You say in a comment that you earn £200 a week - multiply by 52 and that's less than the £10,600 allowance, so you should get it all back.
Have you registered for self-assessment yet? If not, do it NOW so HMRC knows to ask you for a tax return.
If you have registered then go online and prepare your Tax Return at the end of this week.
If you have not registered then get on and register.
If you have registered and done work as an employee you complete an "Employed" page for each employment. Assuming you did Self Employed stuff then you also complete a Self Employed page.
If you HAVE been paying a flat 20% then I suspect you are in the Construction Industry Scheme (C.I.S.); you will have received certificates showing your earnings and tax. You use the certificates to complete a Self Employed page.
Please go to gov.uk/self employed and get reading!!
No way to know.....just because you paid taxes DOES NOT mean you automatically get any of it back. It is possible that you might even have to PAY extra taxes because 792 was not enough! Taxes are a little more complicated than you think!
No one can tell you because you've only said how much tax you've paid.
Your income? Allowable expenses?
Why do you think you'll get something back?
Also, if you're self emplyed you shouldn't have paid any tax yet. Soinds like you're actually emplyed but your emplyer is working a fiddle by describing you as S/E.
Probably nothing. Probably you owe a further £3,500 to £13,500 in tax. I hope you have been putting that aside to pay the tax bill when it arrives - otherwise you are in for some real trouble...
if this were self employment in the US if you had paid in ahead of time the only refund you might get is if your total self employment income did not attain the amount you prepaid the tax on

You won't necessarily get anything back - it depends what tax you owe, depending on your income and business outgoings, and you may even owe more.
