I have bought 4 oil paintings by an artist called wolbeck, unsure who this is but paid €4200 came with?
Certificate of authentication signed by artist, its oil painting on canvas with solid wood frame , its 60x90 pretty big, can you tell me if i been ripped off or is it worth it, please help me x
The paintings are probably not worth the price you recently paid for them (in my opinion).
However, in the future they might sell for millions of euros. That's just how art investing goes. It's impossible to predict what will sell in the future.
I saw a story last year where the famous guitarist Eric Clapton sold a 'painting' (which looked like someone who was drunk just threw paint buckets on the canvas and called it 'art') for Millions of euros.
