hi, i have a problem with the intervideo win dvd in my pc it wont open with nothing in the world note: si the program for seeing tv on the computer yesterday i scneed my pc with avg an antivirus i dwld that same day it found about 786 inetrnet worms and 1 trojan horse the thing is that my pc already ahd those viruses and worked properly but after the scan i tried to open my tv and it didnt worked so now i am tryign to open it and it doenst work so i dotn knwo what to do hp support center refuses to help me so this is my only hope pls help i cant open my onter video home theater and dont knwo what to do ill apreaciate very much fi soemone helps me

Do a System Restore. Start>Control Panel>System Restore,(upper left side). Click on a date in bold numbers on the calendar, to restore back to, and sit back. After it's done turn off the computer, wait 1 minute, or so, and then turn it back on.
I would agree for the system restore, but there is no way to tell when you receive the worms and stuff, you you could spend a long time figuring that out....
Best to reinstall windows.... Then, make a backup of it..... So, if it happens again, a simple restore will fix the problem in approx 10 mins.....
Also, make a duel boot so that your files are on a separate partition from the OS. It keep your files safer and if you have blow away the OS, you don't have to worry about the files; they are safe....
a windows OS only needs about 3 GIG of space and you can devote the rest to a separate partition for the files.....
Or have three partitions, two for the OS partitions..... XP and Say Linux, and then a separate lager one for the files.....
Win DVD for copying DVD and working on DVD. win Dvr is for watching TV on your computer, I have that and I use it I have TV tuner on my computer and this is the software that I use to watch TV.
now if you bought this software it should work if you down loaded it as trial it won't open after the trial end. about the virus scan for virus and don't pay attention to those adds they scan your computer and tell you you have so and so viruses on your computer, they want to sell you software. use this software and scan your computer if you have virus it will clean it.
