I have a few questions about I Am Legend (if you haven’t seen the movie yet, this might spoil it)?
Why did Neville stay in New York to find a cure for the virus? My only guess is that he needed some test subjects. Why didn’t anyone stay with him to help him? And finally, how did Ethan and Anna get to Vermont if all exits from the city were destroyed 3 years ago? I found this movie very interesting but I think I missed these points. Thanks.

Me and my dad were just talking about how they got in/out considering there were no entrances/exits. My guess is they just didn't think about that (directors etc.) He stayed there because his equipment was already there. It would be really hard to find all that equipment outside his house. It would be just as hard to move it. He already knows New york like the back of his hand. Everyone else was dead so they couldn't stay with him.
