I’ve never had a kitten before. He’s a orange cat and he’s i believe a month and a half old? He cries too much and he also scratches me and he’s ALWAYS hyper. I tried cat nip and he doesn’t respond to it. He keeps jumping scratching and running like crazy in the apt and it drives me insane but i don’t want to give it away. Are they going to grow up aggressive? I can never pick him up to cuddle my kitten without him biting my fingers or moving so much?!?! Help!!!

Maybe your parents should've gotten rid of you
I've read your "questions." PLEASE REHOME THE CAT.
I firmly believe that people who cannot manage their own lives should not own pets.
If a kitten is so much work for you then why not get a slightly older cat? It might be better for you to get an older one.
If the kitten is 6 weeks old, no wonder you are having issues. Kittens should be with mom to nurse and learn proper behaviors for at least 10-12 weeks old. They are NOT weaned, NOT litter pan trained, and need to be fed at least 4 times a day with canned food.
The biting and scratching is due to not interacting with siblings and mom cat to learn how to be nice. Either take the kitten back to the friend and mom cat or adopt an older kitten about 4 months old to help teach your baby what he should do.
BTW your kitten is NOT litter pan trained at 6 weeks old and will pee/poop elsewhere, so you need to confine the kitten to one room in the house for at least another month or put out several litter pans in the house.
Catnip has NO effect on kittens. You sound incredibly clueless and immature. Definitely not someone that should ever have ANY pet!
Why did you selfishly take a kitten from its mother at only six weeks old? They HAVE to stay with their mothers until at LEAST eight weeks old. 10 to 12 weeks is FAR better.
Give this kitten back to the idiot friend that gave it to you.
So take it to a shelter and do not have any more pets.
it's a kitten, you moron. Please take it to a no kill shelter before it dies from neglect.
First, all kittens are hyper and will wreck the house. You need cat toys to occupy them. Second, scoop him up with your hand under his stomach and gently run a finger down his back with your other hand. He's frightened when you pick him up. You need to take the place of his mom. If you can dip your finger in warm water, shake off the excess and wipe his cheeks. That will feel like his mom washing his face. He's aggressive because he thinks your going to eat him. Slow gentle movements will calm him. And if he looks at your face look away and blink slowly. That's what his mom did to show peacefulness. Kittens are a handful and hope you don't have a lot of breakables because they will be broken when he plays in the middle of the night. Patience is KEY. Any breakable keepsakes or valuables should be put away in a closet. Get a litter box and clean it daily. Keep the litter at least 2 inches deep. The kitten is too young for catnip. Would you give weed to a newborn?
6 weeks is too young. Call your friend.
