cosx+ sinx
=sqrt(2)(1/sqrt(2)cosx + 1/sqrt(2) sinx)
=sqrt(2)[sin(pi/4)cosx + cos(pi/4)sinx]
=sqrt(2) sin(pi/4 + x)
Thus,
Amplitude is sqrt(2)
Period is 2pi
Phase shift is shift to the left pi/4 from y = sinx
