I have a LG800g cellphone (Tracfone) and sometimes while it's in my pocket buttons get pushed by accident; it happens often enough that I'm used to it by now. But this time it almost sent a text message to my mom (gibberish of course) and among many of the symbols that got inserted into the text was ß. At first I didn't think anything of it; I didn't recognize the symbol, and I kind of laughed about it...until I realized that, after scrolling through the symbol archive on my phone, it wasn't available. It literally is not offered as a symbol option on my phone.
Long story short, I discovered in research that it is a part of the German alphabet (not necessarily used in all German-speaking places, though) and on some systems is accessed with a combination of other characters.
My problem is that I have no clue how I would go about doing this on my phone without an alt key, given that I've already tried using shift.
So, the bottom line is that if anyone has any suggestions about how I might go about creating this symbol with a Qwerty keyboard on a semi-sophisticated phone, I would love to hear them. :) Thanks.

He wanted to grasp how you're. He wanted to talk to you later. But in hindsight he could have determined towards making that call for something his own personal motives had been. My quality recommendation- let it go. You broke up. Move on. Do not sit down "by using the cell" waiting for his name. You are really not too fundamental to him. Take the trace. Sorry to be so blunt.
Ok, you got the symbol on yahoo answers, so copy and paste that into a text.
