Basically, the car is already at 55 miles after one hour. Causing the other car to be at 0 miles. Then, after another hour, the Car 1 is at 110 miles and Car is at 65 miles. Hour 3 is when Car 1 is at 175 miles and Car 2 is at 130. H4 = C1 at 230, C2 at 195...etc....

In one hour the car to be caught travels 55 miles, while the car that does the catching travels 65 miles in each hour of driving.
With a one hour lead, the faster car has to overcome a deficit distance = 55 miles
and
in each hour of driving the faster car catches up (65-55) =10 miles so
it takes 55/10 = 5.5 hours for the faster car to make up the original 55 mile deficit.

55x + 60 = 65x
Basically how it is.
It's 55 miles ahead, and you do 65. Rate of catchup = 10 miles every hour.
It will take you 5.5 hrs. to catch up.
I dunno. Why don't ya run after one to find out.
