If you are MARRIED you get to live with your spouse. If they have base housing available you can live on base with him. If they do not have base housing available then you life off base with him in a rental or you buy something. But until you are married they will not even talk to you and he most likely will be living in the barracks.

after his mos school when he reports to his first duty station

unless his follow on training for his MOS is at least 6 months long, you will not be allowed to join him. so conceivably 9 months minimum. and if he gets assigned to a base overseas, you probably won't be allowed to join him there , so thats another 12-24 months.

if you cannot handle going weeks without seeing or talking to him, you are not cut out to be a military spouse.

In the military, married people in Basic have to be in the barracks with the others. After that, for trade training, married people generally live with their families, although not in all cases, but, it would be the norm. Certainly after the training, they would live together - except when the member is deployed, or for times of base duties, or things like that. There can be a lot of separation periods, especially early in the career. But, generally after Basic, you'll be together. Ish.

You have to be prepared to not be with him for long periods of time. If you're married and he's stationed in the US or stationed long-term in another country, you'll be able to join him. But if he's stationed, for example, in Afghanistan, you won't be able to be with him. Military wives have to be able to build lives for themselves wherever they are, and raise their children pretty much on their own.
