Hi,
I am a 36-year-old man who has never had a girlfriend or been on a date, and I don't know where to begin.
How does a guy in his mid-30s start dating if he has never dated before?
I am not looking fit a pity party, or to spam the community. I am genuinely inexperienced with dating and women, and I am honestly looking for suggestions, advice, hints and tips.
1. Where would be the best place for me to start looking?
2. How do I start looking?
3. What age range might I have the best luck with (I would like someone young enough to have still children because I want kids)?
I find it much easier to talk to people that I don't know online, so do you think online dating would be a good idea and which site would you recommend?
Any other suggestions, hints and tips or advice that you feel like giving me will be most welcome.
Please don't just make fun or try to score points as I am genuinely asking this question in all hood faith.
Thanks.
Update:I read lots of articles online about starting to date in your 30s, but they all assume that you already have dated before and give advice and things based upon that assumption.

You do it the same way you make friends with a person ... strike up a conversation and if the two of you seem to enjoy it you suggest getting some coffee. And it builds, mutually, from there. Or it doesn't.
Women are attracted to men they have fallen in love with, and for women it is the bonding that makes them fall in love. So just be real and appreciate them as human beings, with a potential relationship in the side-wings.
