Corn flower is a thickener that you add to gravy if it requires thickening.
Do you mean cornstarch? I wouldn't use corn starch to make gravy.. But you make a slurry with water and then add it to your pan juices.
You use the cornflour to 'thicken' the gravy.
You don't. The word you want is cornflour.
By corn flour do you also call it corn starch?
Generally a recipe or formula will be right on the package.
you can't make corn flour from gravy or the other way around
cornFLOUR is a thickener, you can't make gravy JUST with cornFLOUR.... and learn to spell
i dont use cornflower .................
I make a slurry with about 2 Tablespoons of corn flour (aka cornstarch) and water. I add that to the pan drippings and juices and maybe a bit of broth if necessary.
Do you mean - corn flower - the blue wild flower common in England
or do you mean - corn FLOUR which is used to thicken sauces in gravy / casseroles
Either way, the easiest thing to do is use a gravy powder
