In the Italian language, I often see ° after a number or something.
I saw it again today so I decided to ask.
It indicates the ordinal number (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc).
1°= primo, 2° = secondo, 3° = terzo, 4° = quarto, ecc
depending on gender (masc/fem) of the noun it refers to, the superscript o may be an a
also n° = numero
It means number, like number one
