Hi,
I need help with homework for the following question.
Solve for x, when the equation is csc x = 2, when the interval is π≤x≤π.
Any help and explanations on how to solve these types of problems would be great!
Thanks!
Update:Hello and thank you for your answer!
I made a mistake in typing, I'm sorry.
I meant when the interval is π/2≤x≤π.
Thank you!

u mean between -pi and +pi?
cscx = 1/(sinx) = 2
so when is sinx = 1/2?
when x = pi/6.
between -pi and +pi, there are two possible values for x.
when x = pi/6 and when x= pi - (pi/6) = 5pi/6
