How do I know if I’m in an emotionally abusive relationship?
So my boyfriend has always been pretty dominant, at first I found it endearing but eventually it turned from him liking things a certain way into him not liking me a certain way. He’s extremely hesitant to let me leave the house, he throws fits when he doesn’t get his way, and he always manages to make me feel like I’m the one to blame, and then somehow he convinces me that he only does all this because he loves me... and I’m just feeling really trapped in this situation

Do you feel like you are riding an emotional roller coaster feel, like you are being punished one time and riding high on love the next, this could be a form of manipulation, a red flag for sure, being isolated, red flag, issues with being jealous of your friends or family, nervous, constantly feel like you are being put down, all of the things you have mentioned in one form or another a possible signs of being in an emotionally abusive relationship, and it will not be easy to leave, you must leave though.
