How do i express 10 nm (nanometers) in μm (micrometers)?

i'm so confused on how to do this

could you please show me how to do this step by step

nano is 10 to the -9

micro is 10 to the -6

A nanometer is 1000 times smaller than a micrometer.

There are 1000 nm in one μm, so one nm is 1/1000μm

10 nm = 10/1000μm = 1/100μm = .01μm = 10^(-2)μm

If you prefer to do the math using exponential notation:

10nm = 10^1nm = 10^1/10^3μm = 10^(1-3)μm = 10^(-2)μm.
