How did the latin language die out? I don´t get it...?
Update:
i mean the romans controlled most of europe for more than 1000 years. So how could this language die out. I mean even the Italians don´t speak it anymore,
Languages change over time. Latin changed in different ways in different places. Through a long process of change it turned into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, etc.
