How come Fraser hill in Chinese is called 福隆港...where 港 means port ? shouldn't it called 福隆山 instead ?
anybody who know how the chinese name come about...pls share.

think the 2nd part explain why 港(jiǎng) is used with Fraser hill, though mostly 港 is assocaite with the sea......

It is a mountain or hill port or resort. It should be called 福 隆 山 港...but shortened to 福 隆 港 ..... But the English name left out the "port", because it is understood, or maybe just "Fraser Hill" sounds better......
