Yeah, it's a little high. 120/80 is perfect blood pressure. You're probably giving yourself anxiety over it, which causes it to rise. Unless it's high for a few days straight, I wouldn't worry about it.
To bring it down to an acceptable level - - NO smoking - no beer/ale - no booze - no drugs of ANY kind - no junk food - no fast food garbage - no sugary sweet soda's. Limit salt intake. Get on a good, healthy, balanced diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables. Drink lots of water, fruit juices & fat free milk to help keep the traffic flowing. Snack on lots of RAW frruit & veggies. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk - then - do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Start doing push ups, sit ups & skipping rope. Within 90 days you will be amazed. NO CHEATING !!!!!!
that is really up there, i would say find out if it runs in your family. If not a proper diet and exercise might help. Anger and stress gets it up there also so relax and take it easy
