Hi. My cat, Milo, is 8 months old and he just had surgery two weeks ago and got neutered. Before his surgery, he was very horny all day long. He was very vocal and would meow all day long in other rooms. After the surgery, he is loosing weight and is sleeping all day long. He is very sweet but looks weak for some reason. He isn’t really doing anything, not playing. The only time he gets up is when he has to use the litter box or to eat ( is free fed ) or when he goes to the other rooms and meows. Any idea what this is?

Call the vet that did the surgery and find out if they need to see him. He should have been his normal self after 2 weeks. This is not normal behavior after being neutered.
if he had surgery only 2 weeks ago u contact the place which did it and tell them what u wrote here and they should take him for free because that was smth they did wrong
Then give him up to a no-kill shelter. Why the Hell did you get a kitten when you can't afford to care for it?
weight loss is not typical after being neutered--I would take him back to the vet--and if I didn't like what I heard I'd go to another-your vet may have botched the job. we had a vet who was a drunk who spayed a female--she became jaundiced and her liver failed and she died....because my mom wouldn't bring her to a good vet until she was on death's door....it was too late. so either pony up the money or watch your cat die.
Is the incision site infected? If not maybe he is just getting used to being Low-T
Surrender it to a rescue if you are too cheap and lazy to take it to a vet
You can afford the net and a cell phone so you can afford a vet.
He has been neutered. I can’t believe that the vet didn’t tell you that. Where did you take him to have the surgery done?
