HELP! An ideal gas is contained in a cylinder with a volume of 5.0 * 10^2 mL at a temperature of 30°C and....?
30°C and a pressure of 705. torr. The gas is then compressed to a volume of 25 mL, and the temperature is raised to 798.°C. What is the new pressure of the gas?

Use Amonton's Law,
p1V1/T1 = p2V2/T2
705torr(500mL)/(30+273.15)K = p2(25mL)/(798+273.15)K
Solve for p2 and you get your new pressure.
Good luck!
