Since I was little I have always felt like I am being watched at when I try to fall asleep. I put my head under the cover and I actually get too scared to uncover my head sometimes getting to the point to where I sweat. This isn’t specific to any place I sleep, it’s just in general when I’m alone and try to go to sleep I feel like I’m being watched even though I know there’s nothing there. If there’s people around me I’m fine. Through my high school years it was a lot worse I’m assuming because of the anxiety I had through high school. I just want to figure out what is actually going on here so I can understand this.

Never sleep with others. Sleep with your wife only. Others may play tricks like this.
I have the same issue. You could try listening to musc, asmr, or anything soothing. Just ignore them and pray to God they leave. If it escalates, use blessed olive oil over your door forming a cross with you finger. At the same time tell all evil beings to leave in Jesus name, amen.
Now that you've grown older you should outgrow this type of comfort sleep like a child. Put head under cover to seek protection. You know it doesn't work that way. If you want to sleep just sleep. Don't have to confuse yourself about eyes floating around like in horror movies or people ready to attack you or bulgar you. Why should people watch you when you sleep? No point, wasting people's time and effort, people need to sleep too!
pray to ur guardian angel before and after sleep.
pray the Jesus prayer all the time (especially in ur sleep).
sleep fully clothed; forgive me.
