Graphic memory. ?More is better¿?
Well I know that is important have a good quantity of MB in graphic memory, and many video games need a minimal graphic memory, but the price is very different from one card to another and I really can´t understand the characteristics just with that serial numbers that they are used to publish. Then ?what is the difference between the cards and¿, ?Do I need care about that or just about that or just about the MB quantity¿.

-Not just about the MB.
-Modern video cards have a GPU(Graphic Processing Unit) and a Memory.
-GPU is like a CPU the faster you have the better.
- Bigger memory is better but you need to watch for the memory clock speed (faster better).
-if you have only 256Mb video card but its very fast that maybe better than 1GB!!!
EXAMPLE:
i reccomend: 640MB GeForce 8800GTS is at good price and you can play all the new games in max video resolution.
With 1GB GeForce 8800GT you can play some games but not the best quality. becouse the GTS is faster.

I can't really follow your question to well... What you want in a card is a high clock speed, and a good amount of RAM (256 is usually enough, 512 is "generally better") As for manufacturers, EVGA, XFX, and BFG get good reviews. I also personally recommend Nvidia's GPUs.
