geometry questions... I’m trying to fill up the 20 characterss?

how do you prove that all equilateral triangles have an altitude ( line from one vertex, or point, to the opposite side forming a perpendicular angle) that is the perpendicular bisector of the opposite side. aka the line hits the midpoint of the opposite side and forms a perpendicular angle.

plzzz plzz plzz answer. its a take home test and i have no clue :(
