What we know is part of what we believe. We may bel;eve some things without absolute evidence. Other things we believe are supported by such absolute evidence that we consider them knowledge.
Our perception of God is sorely limited by our human nature. Until that's finally remedied by Jesus Christ, when he gloriously returns, at the End of the Age, a modicum of faith will be required, in order to please God.
No. You changed it up, moved goal posts at the end of the question. Believing he's real doesn't mean you partly don't believe he's real if you KNOW he's real. Belief isn't the same as knowing.
Belief could be from the trauma of indoctrination and inculcation. Belief could be perpetuated through laziness or apathy. I have met believers who accept without ever questioning their beliefs.
Atheists would rather know than believe.

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. "—Voltaire"Faith: Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel."-Ambrose Bierce
its just terms .. depends on how you define things .. 'faith' goes beyond belief and is a knowing .. belief you could say is more of a mind thing, knowing is more of a 'revealed' thing and is considered 'spiritual' ..

LOL. All religions are based on faith, and faith is the belief in something that can't or hasn't been proven as fact.
For the very obvious reason that simple logic demands there can be no proof either way
To disprove God one needs to know everything
A god that was within the grasp of a finite mind would plainly not be God.
My children grasped that obvious fact by age 13
All one can do is weigh up the evidence and come to a decision...That is called belief or faith.
Minds such as Newton, Kepler, Boyle et all did just that and were convinced Christians

Knowing causes believing also, but not vice versa.
When a person knows something is true or real, and has evidence for it, there is no reason to call himself a “believer”.
