cassie thats wrong because you would have to divide the 7x-4 or whatever it was. You cant just switch the side and times it by it so the final answer wouldn't be that
First thing to do is place all the y containing terms on one side.
So we get: 7xy-2y=3x^2+4
Next factorize the y containing side for y:
y(7x-2)=3x^2+4
Divide by the factorized term such that y is by itself:
y=(3x^2+4)/(7x-2)
There you have it.
