Do you think this statement by Pope Francis applies to those who pass on incorrect information about other people’s religions,?
Including atheism? How can we avoid doing it?

Update:So far no one has come close to answering the question. The question wasn't about whether atheism is a religion but whether the Pope's statement about passing on lies applies to us on Religion and Spirituality. Many of our discussions are Christians vs atheists. Does it apply to Christians passing on lies about atheists or atheists passing on lies about Christians? How can we change this pattern if it does?
