My business teacher who's a reitred banker talked about that. He said that the makers of that company named it Evian for that reason. People would buy a bottle of water for 2 dollars for something that is essentially free - you can get it in a drinking fountain.

It finally answered my curiosity per Church get together and the amount of Evian bottles all around.. (i think, they ´´hide´´ vodka in it anyways)
Yes, but maybe that means they are the reverse of naive. That is, not naive. Maybe the Evian buyers are smarter than us all!
