According to European research emergency contraception drugs chemically identical to plan B don't work if you're over 176 lbs and become less effective if you're only 165 lbs. Now this was done back in 2013 but plan B or similar generics don't put this on their labeled and when you call and ask all they say is there isn't enough research to prove that one way or another. Well it'd still be nice to know since there are other options that we know are very likely to be effective at heavier weights. And why isn't the Ella pill more talked about even if it isn't OTC?

Ella isn't talked about as much because it isn't available OTC. Plain and simple. You need to a get a doctor's prescription, which delays taking it. Sometimes by days.
