No I don't think so. I watched their gag reel and whenever they messed up a bunch of people would laugh, so there's an audience. And at one part where it was supposed to be funny, no one laughed, so the actor looked to the audience and said "You were supposed to laugh!"
No sir, Friends was filmed in front of a live studio audience. My parents was a part of the audience in the episode "The One Where Ross Finds Out"! LOL. The creators wanted a realistic feel to their material although scenes filmed outside used a laugh track when there was something funny because they could not move the audience outside. My parents said they had a live comedian tell jokes inbetween takes to keep the audience ready and all giggly. :D
I dont think so and what's awesome is they dont need a laugh track.Best sitcom ever and one of the best tv shows i've ever seen and i've seen breaking bad

Friends was filmed in front of a live audience. Most of the laughter was what they call cued laughter meaning the audience are told when to laugh.
