The more Hydrogen an ion has, the more acidic it is. pH is on a scale from 0-14. If the pH is 0-6 it is an acid and will most likely have H+ ions in it. Anything from 8-14 is a base and will most likely have OH- ions. H+ means it will have extra hydrogen ions. Anything OH- means it is looking for hydrogen. Oh! And anything with the pH 7 is neutral. So the relationship is, the more hydrogen it has, the lower it is on the pH scale, and the lower it is, the more acidic it is.
I'm pretty sure this is right, but if it isn't please give me a message and tell me what is, because that is how I understood it in my AP Biology class.
Ph: 0-7 is noted as a acidic answer, 7 is noted as independent answer, and seven-14 is noted as an undemanding answer. The greater hydrogen ions(noted as hydronium ions), the greater acidic the answer, which will bring about a decrease ph cuz the decrease the quantity is going the greater acidic this is.

Hydrogen ions will lower the pH of a solution. So the higher the concentration of hydrogen ions, the lower the pH.
A solution that has a low pH is said to be acidic. So the lower the pH of a solution, the higher its acidity.

PH is the negative logarithm to base 10 of hydrogen ion concentration. PH can be defined as a measure of the acidity or alkalanity of a substance.
