A term that typically refers to the placement of a child with special developmental, physical, emotional or educational deficiencies or challenges into a regular classroom setting for part or all of the school day,
I'd say the pros are
- The child will experience being around people who are not like them, and get the chance to be around those type of people.
I'd say the cons are
- Depending on the maturity of the kids in the normal class, they'll probably have a mean comment to make about the child who is not normal.
I think if any child has any Physical/Mental problem, they should probably be placed in a class where a teacher can help kids JUST with those problems and not with kids who have the ability to make fun of them or make the child with the problem in a uncomfortable situation.
