但是通常再問他一次時, 他有時又會忘了However, he often forgets the meaning when (he is) being asked again. 括號裡的字可省略, 因為he在前段已被用過, 後段不需再特別提到 前句已有 “通常”, 後句的 “有時”是多餘的, 所以我選擇 often (通常)
我在想有可能是他連中文(rocket, earth…)都不懂何意就叫他會英文,
I am thinking it has to do with his having to learn the terms in English, such as rocket and earth, when he doesn’t even understand them in Chinese. 對他來講, 會不會是一種負擔Would it not be a burden to him? To him = 對他來講 Burden = 負擔 我刻意加not來加強語氣, 翻成中文會變成 “對他來講不會是一種負擔嗎?” 希望有幫助..@~@

John now takes up learning English upon himself. He also will ask whenever there is a new vocabulary. But when you ask him again he forgets sometimes. I think since he doesn't even know the meaning of rocket, earth, etc in Chinese how do you expect more. It maybe a burden for him.

Probably, he doesn't even know the Chinese meaning of (rocket, earth…) and we want him to learn English.
