At this point I’ve had over five injuries in the past three years. Every time I go to the doctor They say the same thing rest it, ice it, take the medicine and I should be fine. I’ve done everything as told and even extra careful with my hand motions. Like the way I carry lift or push to avoid straining the muscles, yet I Find myself over and over getting hurt no matter what I do. I am an artist I️ do anything from sculpting, drawing, painting... you name it! so my hands are very important part of my life. I don’t feel like my doctors take me serious when I say I’m constantly getting hurt from My wrists it’s always my tendons and I really want to be taken serious & checked out! I feel I’m still very young to be dealing with this. Guess what I want to know is if anyone out there has a similar situation and what they’ve done as well as if anyone knows of vitamins or excercise makes that can help me keep my wrists strong and healthy one they are healed again. I would be visiting the doctor soon and see if they can help this time but for now I want to hear what others have to say...

The only other option is surgery and I would warn you that surgery NEVER re-establishes normal anatomy; it distorts the anatomy to a configuration that USUALLY (and I strongly emphasize USUALLY) leads to "better" function. Your doctors are smart and you would be unwise to insist on more invasive and potentially more compromising treatments.
What was the DIAGNOSIS? Was it carpel tunnel? Was it tendon strain? Was it chipped bone?
I ended up with De Quarvanes syndrome when I overdid the thumb/wrist action while stuffing small items. It took wearing a wrist brace for 6 months to get rid of the issue. Basically the thumb tendon had micro fractures along the length of tube the tendon slides through and caused shooting pains all across my wrist. It was a form of carpal tunnel.

I'm not quite sure what you expect doctors to do. You are the person to research and carry out strengthening exercises, for example, and to take extra care. It seems that it could be something of a self fulfilling prophesy: almost as if you expect something to go wrong.
