And Jesus said to his enemies: “...you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.” (John 8:40).
Thank you in advance for your answers!

A Call to Persevere
19 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death,[b] Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.
For any person to answer this question they MUST have an understanding of The New Testament (I didn't say The New World Translation). The New Testament declares that Jesus became a little lower than the angels. It also says that Jesus is higher than the angels, and that He Himself never took upon Himself the nature of angels. Jesus cried out to The Father in prayer for The Father to restore to Him the glory He had before (before He came to this Earth in the similitude of mankind). Remember that the scriptures tell us (perhaps not your scriptures - no offense intended) that Jesus said, "If you've seen Me, you have seen The Father". In the similitude of human flesh Jesus had to pray to The Father.
With respect, there are many cults which teach that The Bible has been interfered with and tells lies. They then present their own preferred version to an unsuspecting recipient - how very sad.
1. Jesus was saying his Father is greater than his humanity. 2. No Jesus prayed to the Father. 3. Again Jesus talked to the Father, the Father even says Jesus is God and Jesus says he is one with the Father making them both God not 2 Gods.
Read Hebrew 1:8 The Father is speaking about Jesus and look what he says 8But unto the Son he(God) saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Can you believe that? The Father is saying Jesus is God and the Father will have Angels worship Jesus as well. 6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Look there, The Father is saying he is God but he is having all his Angels worship Jesus. And he is saying that Jesus is also God, can you believe that? The Father himself confirms Jesus is ONE with him.
Because in addition to divine nature, Jesus, the Son of God, has also human nature. Therefore, the humanity of Jesus is inferior to the divinity of God, the Father. And as an ordinary human being, Jesus can pray to God just like anyone of us.
John 10:30 (New International Version)
30 I and the Father are one."
Jesus said this as well, how can you miss this? Jesus and God are one. The same being, but only understood by one who knows God.
bless you.
I can explain all this but until you accept Jesus you can not understand it, it is beyond what you can know here and now. But accepting Jesus expands your mind to know these things.
Easily explained. While He was the son of man, He had the limitations of a man. Once He ascends into heaven; His limitations are gone.
Of course Jesus prayed to God. He was also baptized. So why do people get baptized? For the remission of sins. Wait .. wait ... Jesus never sinned ... so why did Jesus get baptized? He answers that question for us! To "fulfil all righteousness". So, while Jesus was on earth He limited Himself; he had to live by faith which the Old Testament says the just shall do. He had to pray, and eat, and drink ... and breathe to stay alive.
Jesus is God incarnated.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Jesus was fully a man as well, which is revealed in the verses you have quoted.
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
If you don't believe that Jesus is the divine in human flesh, there really is no hope for you, because Jesus has revealed Himself as God.
Matt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
jesuse the body is jesus the man, but like all men he had the spirit and unlike us his spirit was GOD,
in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.In him was life, and that life was the light of men.The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus is God's Son.
Because as God's son, Jesus was paying homage to his father. That's the father-son relationship. The father is superior to the son. Yes, Jesus prayed to God as his father.
God is 3 parts, father, son and Holy Spirit.
