If nothing else, this legislation on the financial crisis being debated right now in Congress will have HUGE repercussions for his future Presidency...This bill will affect his policy decisions. If he is able to pass health care and education reform, etc. This in not about Bush, or even Congress, this is about the future of our country...Does he not have the foresight to see this? Doesn´t he care, what is decided and shouldn´t he WANT to give his input and put the election on hold for a couple of days?

He is always saying "out of touch" about McCain doesn't this show he is a bit out of touch with his duties to be a president. He is sure out of touch if he doesn't think the financial standings of america has anything to do with his campaign.
R U serious? You mean to tell me that the entire economic crisis hangs on Obama's presence in Washington. Do you really think suspending his campaign, and rescheduling the debate is going to solve the problem. I will give credit to McCain he is playing the game properly, he has created a situation where Obama can't win. If he disagrees with McCain he is not putting country first and is only thinking about winning, if he agrees with McCain, McCain will get credit for crossing party lines. Despite what Obama does the game is set up so he will look bad. 2 pts for McCain this proves he only has winning in mind and not the country.
ha ha. There is no reason to put the election or debates on hold. McCain going to DC was purely political. The fact is that no one knows if this bailout will rescue our ailing economy. There have been other crises in other election years and the campaigning did not stop, even during the Vietnam war.
What exactly do you expect Obama to do?? He didn't make this crisis! Special interest groups, lobbyists and banking industry are to blame for this crisis.
It is Bush's plan. McCain is against it and he is a Republican. Find a way to change Bush's mind. Obama is not the man for this. Skeptical Republicans are the men who is.
If the majority of the Republican senate voted 'no'...this is at least an inkling that Republicans DOES NOT AGREE WITH BUSH.
It doesn't matter what the Democrats vote for...Bush won't change his mind UNLESS Republicans are AGAINST IT.
Obama is anti-American in his actions, as I see it. He won't do the pledge and he won't try to help get the country out of a mess that was started during the Clinton administration.
I believe he wants the country to go bust so some foreign S.O.B.'s can come in and take over.
Why do you need Obama there, isn't McCain the know all "fundamentally strong" one?
You can see the militant in Obama in this situation. Doesn't make him look good.
