Can vets test the anesthesia on my dog before use？?
im going to get my bulldog neuter soon. but i was wondering if the vet could run a little test on him to see if hes allergic to the anesthesia，before the surgery. cuz my last bulldog was died from allergy reactions by the antibiotics was giving by the vet called primor is the name of the antibiotic that killed her. i cant let this happen again. im going to ask my vet about this tmr but would like to see some info about it first. thx for your time

NO...they CAN & will do a blood panel to check liver function;amongst other things.
Tell them...TELL,not ask...to use iso=the safest.
I have bloods done on my dogs prior to anesthesia. The levels will give the vet the information they need to choose the safest and most suitable anesthetic.
