In Spanish, you begin with No in a negative sentence. Puede is a conjugation of the verb can. Se puede is like General. Like they, but who is they? We don't know it's just in general. Hacer is to do or to make. And then nada means nothing. So no se puede hacer nada. Nothing (in general) can be done. It's the best way I know how to explain it xD
it's a different language with different rules. for instance, they don't use, Hablamos Español (we speak Spanish) for a business, it is "Se habla Español" more like, Spanish is spoken here.

No se puede hacer nada frente a un desastre natural/ Nothing can be done in the face of a natural disaster.
