I'll explain; If it's a rose, I'd really appreciate just one. There's something special about handing me one single rose. If the flower is unusual, don't bring them, especially if you're not a florist. If you are, it would make sense because you understand what the flower is, and what it means.
Whether he's an alpha-male-ish guy or a geek, a single rose will do, because it signifies something personal, something artistic and independent minded. A bouquet is wierd-- he won't understand.
Yes sort of, I would understand and accept them but it doesn't have the same appeal for me as it would for women. I'd kindly say thank you, but if you're talking a man's man, not like many of the males today who wear skinny jeans & things like that than it would sort of make me feel weird. I would rather get a screw driver or something that I can put to use, those flowers are going to die sooner or later. Besides if you want him to think of you a lot, get him something he'll use everyday.
Well,I am 50 now and it was not normal for men in our generation to get flowers. However,I did get flowers a couple times from girls when I was much younger when I was dating them.It was a bit of a surprise but I liked it.It shows you care about the person and that is what is important. If someone as traditional as myself can deal with it,I see no reason why your boyfriend would not like it.
It`s a sweet gesture really.... but yeah it`s definitely weird, guys don`t really like flowers (well unless he is a botanist or a avid gardener still...) He`d probably prefer (this what I would be the present I would like from my girlfriend) something practical like a nice watch, or something like a well thought out video game, his favorite movie on DVD.... really whatever you think he would like... except obviously flowers
I wouldnt think it was werid, just kinda pointless. He may think the thought is sweet but guys are not useually partial to flowers. I doubt it will move him emotionally - if it were me I would prefer my girl to make me something or do something special for me over buying me flowers.

yes
Two things:
1. It depends on what kind of flower.
2. I depends on what kind of guy he is.
