Bob Woodward says Pres. Trump not fit for job. Does anyone care what the people said in 2016? ?
The people said that President Trump is the man for the job and we put him in office. So it really doesn't matter what Bob Woodward or any other democrat says.
In fact, the people did not say that Trump was the man for the job in 2016. Trump got less of the vote than Hillary Clinton. All told he got less of the vote than any major party candidate since the 1990s. So the people roundly rejected him in 2016. He's President right now because of a fluke and not because the people wanted him to be there.
Woodward trashed John Belushi and others with fake or distorted information. He was once a hero over Watergate, but now he is just another Liberal hack.
Bob Woodward is just a journalist. But the press has gotten so powerful and accustomed to controlling what people think, that they begin to make such statements as if they have the authority.
In 2016, the people said Hillary Clinton was the woman for the job. A few rednecks in a few unpopulated states put Trump in office. He got less than 50% of the vote, and 27% of registered voters voted for him.

Actually "the people" DIDN'T say that in 2016. As you well know, Trump lost the popular vote.
