That is the LITERAL meaning of the word "unicorn". Having one horn. Nothing about magic, nothing about a white horse.
OR are you saying that you take your definitions of words from myths and not reality???
Unicorn, derived from the latin word ūnicornis, meaning "having one horn".
This is a unicorn: http://scienceblogs.com/zooillogix/2008/06/a_real_...
Stop relying on your fairy tale myths to define words for you.
Do you still not believe unicorns don't exist?
Update:Robin: No...I don't care what the bible says about unicorns. This is in a response of an atheist question saying believing that unicorns eixsts is just as stupid as believing God exists.
Me proving that her ignorance of actual unicorns only proves her ignorance...nothing about God or the Bible.

Yes, Atheists created that word. Blame them, it makes perfect sense.
Origin Of The Word Unicorn
All words have meanings, that does not mean the meanings reflect reality.
Abyss means bottomless.
Aerobics means living in the air.
etc.
I am sure it will be possible to create what could be called a unicorn one day with a bit of gene splicing from a narwhal and a horse, but what you have shown is not.
There are many abnormalities in nature, but that does not mean it is a new species. There was a man recently (last ten or twenty years) born with horns. Or how about the carnival crab or wolf people. Are you saying they are not human because of a birth defect or genetic abnormality?
"Unicorn, derived from the latin word ūnicornis, meaning "having one horn".
----- Sorry, that's not its definition, it's the origin. They're not the same thing. Here's the actual definition:
u-ni-corn
–noun
1. a mythical creature resembling a horse, with a single horn in the center of its forehead: often symbolic of chastity or purity.
2. a heraldic representation of this animal, in the form of a horse with a lion's tail and with a long, straight, and spirally twisted horn.
3. (initial capital letter) Astronomy. the constellation Monoceros.
4. an animal mentioned in the Bible, Deut. 33:17: now believed by some to be a description of a wild ox or rhinoceros.
5. a former gold coin of Scotland, first issued by James III in 1486, having an obverse bearing the figure of a unicorn.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Origin:
1175–1225; ME unicorne (< OF) < L ūnicornis one-horned, equiv. to uni- uni- + corn(ū) horn + -is adj. suffix
And no, a "mythical creature resembling a horse, with a single horn in the center of its forehead: often symbolic of chastity or purity" does not exist.
Are you really this much of an idiot? Or do you just play one on the internet?
that's a roe deer
not a unicorn even though it has one horn on its head
a unicorn as defined by the dictionary and as its used by atheists is the mythical definition:
u⋅ni⋅corn /ˈyunɪˌkɔrn/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [yoo-ni-kawrn]
–noun 1. a mythical creature resembling a horse, with a single horn in the center of its forehead: often symbolic of chastity or purity.
and yet you still haven't proved your god with this nit picking semantic point youre making
This post serves no purpose, nor adds anything to the topic of R&S. What's the point in pretending you don't know what atheists mean when they say they don't believe in unicorns?
I don't. "I'm a believer... Not a trace of doubt in my mind.. I'm in love (ooh ooh) I'm a believer I couldn't leave him if I tried..." I'm just curious. You're making a point, but I honestly have NO idea what it is about. UNicorns?? Something to do with GOD?? AHH ! It is a unicorn. MY HERO, =]
I still don' t see the point...
Was this posted in response to numerous people responding with "no, but can your prove unicorns don't exist?" when you ask if they can disprove God?
I know I don't deny the existence of the invisible pink unicorn.
I assume you are addressing the issue of unicorns being mentioned in the Bible.
It also mentions dragons. Lots of times.
