I have trouble with them because for the most part, the ones I have met are angry. They aren't just scientific about it (although one of my friends is, and I respect his non-belief the way he respects my belief)-- but usually it's people who are poking fun at Christians and telling us how stupid we are and brainwashed, etc., instead of just accepting that we believe and they don't.
Their non-belief seems rooted in some personal tragedy or disappointment-- God didn't do what they expected or wanted Him to do, therefore He must not exist, and to top it off, He's a really nasty deity... somehow doesn't make sense to me.
Wait, what? Are you conversing on conversions? I do have faith that Christians have the industry cornered on having human beings have faith of their own ideals. I, in my opinion, have not considered what you communicate of. optimistic, there are some individuals that are greater keen than others to instruct how incorrect we see faith and different issues - yet that's no longer "making" anybody do something. it is in comparison to we've a gun to anybody's head or use threats of eternal damnation in case you do no longer follow what we follow. Come on, now. i think of you ought to advance a thicker dermis. no longer all human beings interior the international will accept as true with you - in fact the final public of the international would not. AND- so what if there is an atheist attempting to transform a Christian? Why is it deemed undesirable, yet changing an atheist to Christianity isn't? Hypocrite, plenty?
The Church of Atheism (which I have a hard time calling a church since their beliefs are based on lack of beliefs. ????) bases their claims that the world is a big chance. How in the world can you get so many things go right just to have it mean nothing whatsoever? Also, logic and reason came from where if no greater being established it? And if you can ignore those things, how can you resist the urge to believe that there is some one out there that cares for you, no matter what the circumstance? I have a hard time ignoring those things, but if that didn't convince you, you are great at lying to yourself. You should get an award.
Because your parents beat you over the head with the family bible as a child and told you fairy tales of the punishment you would receive from a malevolent sky fairy for doubting his existence .

I believe in God and in Jesus Christ, His Son.
Merry Christmas, for all the right reasons!

If you're serious, I guess b/c you've never talked to one.
Seeing as how I eat, sleep, go to the bathroom, exist, etc....I'm perfectly reassured I exist.
Edit: Erick, logic and reason dictate that individuals DO NOT create life.
So, where is your undeniable proof of any deities creating and interfering with humanity?

Spiritually speaking of course .
I don't know. Not only do I not believe in gods, I don't believe in supernatural powers like mind-reading.
Why wouldn't you believe in atheists?
usually theists dont believe atheists. if they did they wouldn't be theists. this is common sense.
Due to an unwillingness to listen
you believe god gave you free will right? Then obviously you choose not to.
