thing is, he may have shown up if the show didn't dive down hill so fast from the first season, now its so childish (yes, even more so), but it would be sorta neat wouldn't it? i think maybe it gives older pokemon games more of incentive to play since they can put themselves in ashes father's shoes in his youth, or something i dunno...
