Do you prefer the name Aoibhe (pronounced Ee-vah) or Éabha (pronounced Ay-vah) for a girl? These are Irish names because I live in Ireland, so that's why the spelling might seem a bit strange.
Aoibhe (Ee-vah) comes from the Irish word aoibh meaning 'beautiful'.
Éabha (Ay-vah) is the Irish form of Eve meaning 'living'.
Which do you like better? Aoibhe or Éabha?
Update:Aoife and Aoibhe are two different names, but they both stem from the same word 'aoibh', so they're very close.

I think that Aoibhe is nice! I love Irish names!
Siobhan is a very lovely name too!
and Ciaran for a boy!
Hope this helps
Good Luck =)
Aoibhe.
Aoibhe but unless you live in a place where those names are common and people would know how to say it you should spell it normally...
Aoibhe...is that the same as Aoife? Because I like that name.
choose Eabha as i've got no longer seen it that lots and it form of feels very unique. Aoibhe is quite such as Aiofe and ailbhe in it spell and ought to convey approximately confusion. I trust you approximately your view on irish names. I grew up in canada with the call Peadar, brought about some concern at situations in the two pronunciation and spelling, yet people who know and are nicely worth understanding will make the attempt. Why could we abandon our language and subculture in simple terms to make issues much less confusing on the anglo-telephone worldwide.
I love the name Éabha but i prefer it spelled Ava
They are both lovely, but I do prefer Éabha. Of course, one of my favorite Irish names remains "Assumpta" (yes, blame "Ballykissangel" for that).
Aoibhe for sure! :)
The second . I love that name .
