i think I'm allergic to bumblebees because in the summer of 2010 my friends and i were walking on the railroad tracks and we were laughing so i think i stepped on a bumblebee but I'm not really sure so i just walked on and then i got a bumblebee sting on my thing that attaches to ur foot and close to the side of my thigh and we walked back to my friends house and i saw it was purplish blue and a little bit of red and my mom came rushing over while my friend Katie's sister was putting mud on where it was..im still scared of summer just because of the bumblebees that are out and i just be in the middle of my parents or siblings and it was hard for me to breathe from the sting

Normally a bumblebee won't sting until she is fighting for her life and that is something you did. You stepped on her and she was stinging because she fears for her life. It's not an allergic reaction, it's just normal that it will be big and itchy. When I got sting by an bumblebee the same would happen to me, and I'm not allergic to any bee or wasp at all..
