I learned a while back how 2 do my own acrylic nails :) Ive been doing them 4 almost a year & i noticed ive gotten better over time but the problem is when i do my mom & sister's nails they tend 2 fall off the next day or so :( idk what im doing wrong:( on mine they last 2wks before im even close 2 needing a refill. I bought all my products from sallys, i use "beauty secrets" nail primer and the acrylic liquid is "no lift nails" and acrylic powder is "super nail" and i always push the cuticles back with "orly cuticle oil" so idk.. Should i be putting the acrylic powder thicker? Or not use the oil for the cuticles? can someone please help?
Also any tips on preventing the acrylic from touching the nail bed is greatly appreciated:)

Don't wear acrylic nails. Simple. Problem Solved
Dont use oil- it creates a barrier between the natural nail and the acrylic. In fact I wash and scrub my hands with antibacterial soap and use acetone to clean the nails before I start to remove the natural oil from the nailbed. Make sure you're roughing up the nail enough as well otherwise it won't bond. I use a rough grit nail file. It needs a rough surface to attach to. You just have to do a little- not destroy the nail.
