¡About Aikido and Wu shu!?
Hi friends, just wanna know a little bit about the sword art in the many different martial arts.
In Aikido the people learn to master the sword through a an art that was used by samurais and is named kenjutsu if i don't mistake. Then my inquiry is:
If Kenjutsu is the Japanese sword art, what's the chinese sword art?
where can i find information about learning this art? DVD's or videos regarding, but free, of public acces; books or other materials or any type of tool taht i can take advantage of to learn these marvelous arts? ManyThanks, millions of grateful thanks!!!

First of all, in aikido, sword techniques (aiki-ken), are more like training tools, since most empty handed techniques in aikido are based upon stances and cuts in kenjutsu, especially Shinkage-ryu kenjutsu.
Second, many wushu styles incorporate sword techniques. Maybe somebody else with more experience in Chinese martial art systems can point you in the right direction.
Lastly, you can't really learn a martial art through books and videos. You need to out there, and look for a legitimate school and train the old-fashioned way. But if you want to learn ABOUT these arts, then Wikipedia would be a good start; at the very least, the References and External Links sections contain a lot of great sources.
Aikido teaches many open handed techniques mostly focused on disarming compared to using weapons. Aikido is a martial art that was created so the perfect amount of force is used, so no one gets hurt. Therefore it is not recommended as a sword art, since it isn't one.
There are many different chinese swords, tai chi uses the straight sword , wushu can use the wider curved one and maybe straight too. CHinese martial arts just have tons of different weapons
I meen not to be a dick, but if you want a really epic weapon art that also includes grappling, open hand, and a real good base, go check out Kali/Arnis/Eskrima(They are all the same, except with different names). BEST WEAPON ART OF ALL TIME!!!
