Hello my name is Jack Tickle. So my problem is that i would like to switch over from my Xbox to a Gaming PC (hopefully a good one) I have around £700 that's about $1000. I literally have no clue about computer parts (i know its bad) but i would like to know what is a good buy and if you could, if you have the time maybe tell me what does what and why it is needed.
Games i would like to play on it:
GTA IV (MOST IMPORTANT) hopefully with mods
Minecraft (maybe even a server?) most probably with mods
Garry's Mod
Counter Strike
(Maybe Skyrim) i know that's pushing it a little
Call of duty 4-6 hopefully with mods
Fallout new vegas
Atmoshir
Sims 3
Roller-coaster Tycoon 3
Far Cry Editor
Others
Applications i would like to run with it:
Microsoft word and stuff
Editor of some sort
Fraps (i need to be able to record the games at good fps excl GTA IV it has an recorder built in)
Steam
Animations/modeling software (just so when i do my course i don't have to upgrade)
If this isn't possibly with that kind of money then tell me how much i would need to make it possibly or what i would have to miss out (other than GTA IV)

I built my computer for 1100$, not including the monitor. You could max out and of those games with a 700$ computer as long as you chose the right one. Of course, I suggest building your own, as you save money and improve your knowledge on how computers function.
As for Minecraft, if you want a server just buy one for $10 a month for 8 people.
The programs don't require a good computer to run. You don't buy a $1000 computer so you can run Steam and Microsoft word.
Also, if you build your own, it's a lot easier to upgrade a new parts are released instead of replacing your whole computer.
i could propose construction your guy or woman device. procuring OEM machines grants you intense issues contained sooner or later. including mom-board replacements, guarantee, and so on. construction your guy or woman rig you have a call on what you do, and how you do it. So then contained sooner or later in case you elect to enhance an element, you already know precisely what and the thank you to do it without voiding your computer's guarantee. Dell - that's additionally alienware - is beond overpriced and is pathetically rude to their shoppers. They stick a label that voids the $one thousand+ guarantee on the component panel, once you eliminate it - it extremely is throughout.
Get a mac and get windows 7 and put it on the Mac ( look it up online) it will run better and faster
