You could make friends with this girl and work on your weight and self esteem at the same time. Maybe you'll be ready to have a gf by the time you're both into each other romantically. But don't delay any of these 3 things. Start all 3 projects immediately. Go on the walk, get to know her and decide if you like her, work on eating habits/exercise and google some self esteem improvement techniques and put that on project status as well. You'll get past your hurdle but only if you jump. Staring at it, talking about it, dreading it, none of that stuff gets us over obstacles. Learning to jump and jumping does.
