So I went to a pet-co because I bought a new five gallon tank. The worker pointed me out a fish to buy. A 4” koi fish. While packaging her up a worker dropped her on the floor. She’s okay, and I took her home. I have now researched and realized she’s too big for a five gallon tank. I can’t take her back to the store and have no bigger tank or pond to put her in. Can I keep her in their? Will she be okay?

what do you mean you cant you take it back? They employee sold you a fish that anyone hired at a pet store should have known would die in a 5 gallon tank.
You call, or get an adult with a sturn voice to call and not onle demand your money back, but complain that tje employee hussled you, then dropped the fish. Petco is a big box chain store, they have to have certain standards, call until you reach a manager, and if that is not enough, call there 1- 800 number.
Even their own websight says recomends larger tanks then that for goldfish and koi.
I imagine your imaginary fish is fine in your imaginary tank.
